Not sure what you are interested in yet? The College of University Studies is a developmental advising program for first year students who are admitted to Plymouth State University without declaring a major or degree option.
The College of University Studies pilot year was 2005-2006, when we accepted 50 first year deciding (also known as undecided) students. 98% of these students were able to choose a direction by the end of their first year at Plymouth State. Students may remain in the College of University Studies until they select an academic major or degree option; most are able to do so within the first year.
Undergraduate Academic Departments
Our academic departments offer students a wide range of educational opportunities. For instance, mathematics students have the opportunity to combine their studies in math with business and computer science. Many of our academic departments offer students similar opportunities to enhance their employment outlook. In addition, the University offers numerous student support services, such as the Math Activities Center, with trained student tutors and a faculty dedicated to student success and achievement.
