The Center for the Environment serves a diverse research, education, and public engagement role addressing the science, policies, culture and economics of the natural environment in northern New England.
Undergraduate Academic Departments
Our academic departments offer students a wide range of educational opportunities. For instance, mathematics students have the opportunity to combine their studies in math with business and computer science. Our graduate students engage in reflective practice through core graduate courses as well as professional development, collaborative inquiry and individual research. Many of our academic departments offer students similar opportunities to enhance their employment outlook. In addition, the University offers numerous student support services, such as the Math Activities Center, with trained student tutors and a faculty dedicated to student success and achievement.
