NR 3080 - Legal, Ethical, and Organizational Foundations for Nursing
Examines the structure of health care systems as well as the laws and ethical principles that guide professional nursing practice in the current healthcare delivery system. Critical thinking is used to analyze the impact of personal, professional, societal, and client system values on ethical decision-making. Discusses the interrelationships between a variety of health care provider roles. Last offering Summer 2013. Prerequisite(s): Pre-Licensure Nursing majors only.
