NR 3110 - Health Care Informatics
Integrates nursing science with computer technology and information science. Explores the emerging health informatics field and how the acquisition, storage, management and of information can play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care, reducing the costs of delivery, and addressing population health issues. Provides focuses on the role of information systems in health care organizations. Emphasizes technology based health applications which support clinical, administrative, research, and educational decision-making enhancing the efficacy of nursing endeavors. Online course. Summers.
