Physical Activity Skills Course. The Pilates Method is a body conditioning system of stretching and strengthening exercises with the goal of developing fluidity and precision of movement with integration of mind and body. Using the movement system developed by Joseph Pilates, mat work exercises are featured that develop concentration and awareness of key muscle groups with progressive development of strength, flexibility, and control.
