Plymouth State gives you year round access to incredible outdoor adventure. We’ve got you covered whether you’re into the adrenaline rush of extreme sports–like boarding and rock climbing–or prefer more tranquil outdoor pursuits—like hiking and camping. Our location in the White Mountains of central New Hampshire puts you within minutes of some of the country’s best ski resorts, lakes, parks and campgrounds.  Prefer city life?  We’re just a short two-hour ride from Boston.

More About Addie

Why did you choose to come to Plymouth State?

Awesome atmosphere, awesome people, and just an overall awesome place to be!

What do you like best about your major/academic program?

“The professors within all the departments are stellar; they truly care and will go to great lengths to guarantee your success as a student. The personal touch they all bring to the programs make things great as well.”

What is your favorite place to hang out on campus? Off campus?

“On campus, I love hanging out on Mary Lyon green with a group of friends. Off campus, Plymouth’s downtown area has several amazing boutique places to shop. My favorite’s Sunflower; I could buy out the store!”

How have you changed since you first arrived at PSU?

“I’ve definitely become more independent living on my own. Through the Admissions program especially, I feel as though I’ve also grown quite comfortable talking with others.”
