Transfer Credits

How Do My Credits Transfer?

Transfer Credit Database

PSU accepts up to 90 credits from accredited schools. Courses are accepted for transfer credit provided that a grade of C or higher was earned and the individual course is equivalent to a course offered at PSU. Use the PSU Transfer Credit Database* to learn which of your college-level classes will transfer to PSU.

*Please note that only coursework that has been previously evaluated by PSU is listed in this database. If your course is not listed, that doesn’t mean it will not transfer. All courses listed on your college transcripts will be fully evaluated for transfer credit.

Credit by Examination

You may also earn up to 30 credits by examination. The credits may be earned by successfully completing nationally standardized examinations (AP, CLEP, DANTES) or by completing an examination administered by a PSU academic department.

Military Experience

If you have served in the military, you may submit your Joint Services Transcript (JST) for transfer credit evaluation.

What our students, alumni, & faculty say

Colin Murphy ’13

Colin MurphyMarketing, Professional Sales Option

“Plymouth State is really different than other schools. The professors care about how you do in the classroom — whether or not you get a good grade, get a good grade on a quiz — but they really do care about getting you a job. Getting you an internship in the summer. Connecting you with alumni who have a job in your field.”
