In lieu of a high school transcript, home-schooled students should submit an outline of academic studies (this may include reading lists, course syllabi, writing samples or work portfolio) and, if available, a satisfactory secondary school equivalency certificate or home school diploma.

Candidates applying after deadlines may receive consideration only as vacancies occur. The University reserves the right to close admission prior to the above deadlines if enrollment has reached full capacity.

Plymouth State University requires all high school graduates to submit results from the SAT-I (which includes the required essay) or the ACT (with the optional essay).
If you are taking the SAT and plan to use Score Choice, please note that Plymouth State considers highest scores of all the SAT scores you submit.
Please also know that your high school record is a more important factor than test scores in the admission process.
