A little bit of everywhere! Before moving to New Hampshire, I came from Charlotte, North Carolina, Leysin, Switzerland and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. It really is hard to pinpoint my hometown. I have family and friends from all around the world.

Why Plymouth?
We moved to the Plymouth area in 2001 to raise three wonderful, crazy kids. The attraction was skiing in the winter and the lakes in the summer. I was fortunate enough to land a job here at PSU in the fall of 2004 doing what I love to do – recruiting and educating students about furthering their education. You will find here at PSU that everyone is genuinely nice. It is a strong, friendly, and caring community – both on and off campus.

More About Erica

Why did you choose to come to Plymouth State?

“I chose Plymouth State because the University is close to my hometown and I love the look and feel the campus. Plymouth is the perfect size, it has a great business program, which is my major, and I love the surroundings around the campus, the skiing and hiking.”

What do you like best about your major/academic program?

“The thing that I like best about the business department and classes that I take is that a lot of the teachers are very friendly and approachable. Even if I am taking a class in a lecture hall the teachers still get to know you and will recognize you when they see you outside the classroom.”

What activities are you involved in outside of class?

“Outside of class I am a member and the vice president of Women’s rugby, I am a member of MAPS (which stands for Marketing Association of Plymouth State) I am an admission rep (so I give tours of campus) and I work on the Rec. Programs marketing team. At work I work with other students to maintain Rec. Programs Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and we take pictures and videos of all the events and intramural sports that Rec. Programs run.”

How have you changed since you first arrived at PSU?

“I have changed a lot since I started attending PSU. In high school I was very quiet when talking to people and not very outgoing. Since then I have become very outgoing and gained self confidence. Everything that I have done while at Plymouth State has helped to build my self confidence.”
