Why Plymouth?
Plymouth State is a whole new experience and when I was a student here, I started to realize what the campus is all about. It truly is about the people on this campus – whether it be friends, students, faculty or staff. Everyone on campus is always willing to lend a hand to help out with anything, or to simply grab a cup of coffee with you. Another reason I love working for Plymouth is the view of the campus. How often can you truly walk across a campus and have a picturesque view of the mountains in the background? It truly is breathtaking.

Favorite Movie?
Don’t really have one. I am a big fan of action movies, though.

Favorite Plymouth Eatery?
Six Burner Bistro. The food is always amazing every time I go there! Its quick service and unique food options always keep me coming back for more.

Favorite Spot on Campus?
The HUB (Hartman Union Building). It’s always hustling and bustling inside the student union building. It also has two of my favorite places inside the building – the gym and a coffee shop. Yum!

Favorite Pro Sports Team?
Boston Bruins

Mac or PC? Mayo or Miracle Whip? Chocolate or Vanilla?
I like both types of computers. I am definitely a mayo person; Miracle Whip grosses me out! My favorite is dark chocolate; something about the bitterness adds that extra touch that is needed to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Favorite Quote?
“Carpe Diem!”

More About Dan

Why did you choose to come to Plymouth State?

“I chose to come to Plymouth State because of its beautiful location at the crest of the White Mountains. The small town and tight community that Plymouth offers also appealed to me! Every time I come back to Plymouth it is as if I can take a step back and be at ease…it’s like coming home.”

What do you like best about your major/academic program?

“I love being a part of the education program at Plymouth State. Since my teachers are teaching us how to teach, I feel that they truly understand the entire student/ teacher dynamics; what works and what does not. For example, it is rare that I ever have to take a formal exam, because my teachers understand the advantages to hands on approaches and the different learning styles of their students.”

How have you changed since you first arrived at PSU?

“I feel that I have fully discovered who I am and the person I strive to be. It was never until I went to Plymouth that I started counting down the days until summer ended!”
