The purpose of the David L. Kent Criminal Justice Spirit Award is to support a scholarship for a Criminal Justice student. The recipient must be a sophomore or junior, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and must have demonstrated commitment through service to the criminal justice program at PSU. The award recipient should have a desire to enter a career field in criminal justice or law and exhibit enthusiasm for academics. The candidate must also have sensitivity toward issues of cultural diversity. The recipient shall be selected by the Criminal Justice faculty.
* Students who would like to be considered for scholarships that identify financial need as a criteria will need to complete the Federal Financial Aid Application before the March 1 deadline. Academic and Non-Academic Departments offering scholarships collaborate with the Financial Aid Office, therefore, it is imperative that students comply with PSU policy.
