Annual Fund

In 2011, the New Hampshire state legislature reduced by 48 percent the public funding for the University System of New Hampshire. For Plymouth State, this meant a direct loss of $6.6 million to the operating budget in this fiscal year.

Current students and their families felt the immediate impact of this cut through a $2,000 increase in tuition and fees. Increases such as these are unsustainable and threaten the accessibility of a Plymouth State education. That’s why now, more than ever, private support from our alumni, parents, and friends is critical to maintain the quality of a Plymouth State education.

The Plymouth State Annual Fund supports the University’s core programs and initiatives. Each year, the Annual Fund receives gifts from alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends that benefit current students, providing resources to support financial aid awards, academic programs, athletics, faculty development, research, library resources, and more.

Our Annual Fund priorities include:

  • Annual Fund – supporting the entire Plymouth Experience
  • Student Scholarship Fund – helping students in financial need
  • President’s Initiative Fund – fostering new University initiatives

Your gift this year to the Annual Fund helps our students today. Your continued support of the Annual Fund creates the level of educational excellence our students deserve from the Plymouth State experience.

Please make your gift to the Annual Fund today.

When you make your gift to the Annual Fund, your contribution helps to create the unique Plymouth State experience for our students. A Plymouth State education is a springboard to a brighter future for our students, their families, their communities, and a stronger, more prosperous nation.
