Michael J. Long ’75

Mike is the President of Community Guaranty Savings Bank in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Prior to becoming President he served as Vice President from 1988 to 2004 and as Executive Vice President from 2004 to 2008. He was part of a group of local incorporators and former colleagues who founded the bank in 1988. Prior to the forming of Community Guaranty Savings Bank, Mr. Long was Assistant Vice President of Plymouth Guaranty Savings Bank. He graduated from Plymouth State College in 1975, the Maine-New Hampshire School for Savings Banks in 1983 and the Stonier School of Banking at Georgetown University in 2000. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Development Finance Authority for sixteen years and served as Chairman for three years. He is currently the chairman of the board of the Community Bankers Association of New Hampshire.  Mike was formally on the Board of D Acres of New Hampshire, a non-profit organic farm and educational homestead in Dorchester, NH. Mike lives in Plymouth.
