More than 200 people attended the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event co-hosted by Plymouth State University in January. The event showcased the College of Graduate Studies’ location at 2 Pillsbury Street in Concord.
PSU President Sara Jayne Steen and Chamber President Timothy Sink made brief remarks as guests toured the facility and learned about graduate programs offered at the location.
The College of Graduate Studies has offered graduate programs at the Concord site since 2006. The modern facility with its 12 classrooms and seminar rooms offers a comfortable and state-of-the-art learning environment for students, and is conveniently located near I-93 and I-89.
Several Plymouth State alumni lent their support to the event by donating door prizes, including: Monica Bardier ’92, owner of PingPR and a member of the PSU Alumni Association Board of Directors; Larry Haynes ’86, president and CEO of Grappone Automotive Group and chair of PSU’s President’s Council; and Michele Talwani ’93, ’96G, former chair of the PSU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
