Lee Mason lives in Northwood, NH, with his wife Charlotte. Lee earned his Bachelor of Education degree in 1965.
One of Lee’s fondest memories of his time at Plymouth State was when he lived with seven other men above the laundromat behind Blair Hall. At the time, sororities and fraternities weren’t officially recognized, so his residence was cleverly deemed, “Tappa Nu Keg.” After graduation, Lee spent 36 years in the New Hampshire school system, working as principal at Hooksett Elementary, principal of Barrington Middle School, headmaster of Northwood Coe-Brown Academy, and assistant principal of Raymond High School. Lee served on the Board of Directors for the Plymouth Seacoast Chapter and was vice president of the Coe-Brown Northwood Academy Board of Trustees.
Lee has a wonderful family with three healthy children (two of whom are Plymouth State graduates), and three healthy grandchildren, whom he adores. When asked if he had any wishes for the future he replied, “Nothing more than good health and good friends. That’s all you can really ask for!”
