* Brilliant Being (A World Premiere) conceived by Matt Kizer, Paul Mroczka, Jonathan Santore and Amanda Whitworth. Featuring Amanda Whitworth and Emily Jaworski, Brilliant Being is a journey towards a new light. This is an innovative form of performance, layering new types of dance and technology together, with originally composed music, to create a live MC Escher-like fantasyscape. It is where live performance meets video gaming in an interactive performance piece, redefining theatre and storytelling. Brilliant Being is about creating anew after everything is lost.

** Taking the Lead: Women and The White Mountains
Ever since the White Mountains region became part of the national consciousness, women as well as men have been drawn to them.  What may surprise people is how often women have been leaders in the regions: from farm wives to climbers, from early hikers to modern businesswomen, from early conservationists to today’s environmentalists.  The mountainous region gave women a place to explore their talents and creativity uninhibited by the constraints of urban life.

Listen to NHPR’s piece on the exhibit at http://nhpr.org/post/playing-dead-women-whites-half-wild starting at 19:28 minutes.
