Robin (Hartman) Baxter ’02
BS in Physical Education
In 2006, Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, named Robin Baxter ’02, a former Plymouth State standout lacrosse player, as its head women’s lacrosse coach. Now in her sixth year as head coach, she has helped to build the team into formidable championship contenders. Baxter also serves as an advisor for the university’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee and serves on the sport management program board.
Baxter was attracted to Plymouth State for its location, variety of PE-focused majors, and its highly competitive DIII field hockey and lacrosse programs. “I loved my experience at Plymouth,” she says. “Being named a Top Graduating Senior meant that not only did Plymouth make an impact on me, but that I made an impact on my school.”
Baxter and her husband, Jeff, welcomed their first child, Campbell Renee, in August 2009, and are expecting their second child in June 2012.
