Jessica Babino ’11 chose Plymouth State because of the feeling she got while touring campus as a senior in high school. “I truly felt right at home with the students, faculty, and staff,” she recalls. “I was also very interested in the English and education programs because I had heard nothing but fantastic things about both departments.” After graduating, Babino went straight into a graduate program at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is pursuing an advanced degree in special education in moderate and severe disabilities.

Babino writes that she was “ecstatic” upon learning she was named one of PSU’s 20 Top Graduating Seniors. “It meant that peers, faculty, and staff truly took the time to get to know me and really understand my goals in my undergraduate experience and for my future.”
