Megan Beaucage ’11
BS in Music Education (K-12)
After graduating, Megan Beaucage ’11 immediately put to use her degree in music education, conducting and teaching several bands and choruses at Milton High School in Vermont. Today, she works at The Movement Center, a dance and music studio with locations in Colchester, Williston, and Georgia, Vermont. Beaucage teaches a wide range of music classes, including piano, voice, guitar, musical theatre, and children’s workshops.
She is appreciative of the Top Graduating Senior recognition, writing: “It meant so much to me because I had worked hard to become very academically and socially involved throughout college … I didn’t feel like a number in the crowd when I auditioned for the music program. It was refreshing.”
