Workers Install Second Layer of Pipes
On top of the first layer of warm pipes (see earlier post) are 8 inches of sand.
Next are two layers of insulation, a vapor barrier, and 8 more inches of sand.
Now the second layer of pipes for the cold “Buffer Zone” is being installed.
There will be three layers in total and over 20 miles of pipe beneath the rink floor.
