PSU Celebrates Fan Appreciation Day with
Free Admission to PSU Women’s Ice Hockey Game;
Governor John Lynch and First Lady Dr. Susan Lynch to Attend
On sunday the ice arena was alive with the holiday spirit hosting the second annual Skate With Santa. Children could get pictures with Santa in his sleigh, decorate their own sugar cookies, skating for all, and sleigh rides by Pemi Youth Center were offered as well. It was a joyous day had by all.
It was an exciting night at the Ice Arena as four great teams battled it out for the championship titles. The first game matched the Panthers against the Bulldogs with the Panthers coming out victorious to take the Title.
The second game saw Team Gerard take on M&W and come out victorious for their Title. Congratulations to all teams on a very competitive season!
The adult hockey championship games are scheduled for Tuesday December 6, 2011. Come and cheer your favorite team on to championship victory.
The games are as follows:
8:10 PANTHERS vs. BULLDOGS
9:20 M & W vs. TEAM GERARD (if M & W win a second game will be played at 10:00pm on Wednesday December 7th)

The Ice Arena had the honors of being featured in the October “A View From Rounds Tower” video. Ken Knight the manager of the facility was interviewed, along with other staff from The Silver Center, Lamson Library, Prospect Hall, and The HUB.
Come to the PSU Men’s home opener against Westfield. Student tickets will be available in the HUB from 9-3 the day of each game and on Friday from 9-3 for weekend games, NonStudent tickets are available at the Silver Box Office. Ticket price for both Men and Women’s hockey will be $5.00 and children under 12 are Free!
