    Karen,

We have not set a specific date yet for our next session of learn to skate, however we do know it will begin in early January. You can contact Ken Knight at 603.535.3360 in regards to starting in the middle of a session.

    Thank You.

Do you have “walkers” for the little ones to use during the public sessions? Thanks

    • Marcy says:

      Matt,
We do not have walkers for the little ones but we do have milkcrates that are tied together in sets of two. These seem to be a great tool, and they are more stable than the walker and less dangeroug than the legs of the walker.

Kudos to the Plymouth State Ice Arena!

The two gentlemen who were at the front desk at noon Friday were friendly, helpful, pleasant and professional. They gave advice to the 5 and 7 year old children I brought, and told us about the wonderful use of milk crates for balance.

It was fun to see an inter-generational and multicultural group learning and having fun together. Talk about picking yourself up and starting over! The adults who were gathered in support of their own skaters, were supportive of others, as well. I was so impressed, I’ve spread the good word to many since our visit to the arena. Keep up the good work!

The Live Schedule, which is supposed to be updated every 30 minutes, is not accurate. i checked the Live Schedule today at 9:50 a.m. to make sure the stated 10:00 a.m. Public Session was still published. It was. I then took time away from work and arrived at the Arena at 10:15 to take advantage of this published public session, but the rink was dark and the window was closed. I am now back at the office at 10:40, have checked the Live Schedule again in case I made a mistake, but it is still showing a public session from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Please keep this schedule updated as you say you are..

      Peggy,
Sorry for the inconvenience. The Ice Arena was scheduled to be closed this week for maintenance and when this was canceled we added the skate session. We will be open for the morning skate the rest of the week except on Tuesday. We hope this was not to much of an inconvenience and look forward to seeing you soon.

I’m with Peggy. If you represent that the schedule on the website is accurate then it must be your priority to make it so. I drive from much farther away then Peggy for open hockey and rely entirely upon this online resource.

It has never failed me, I commend you for having it and I think you have done a good job with it. I just want to underscore, as Peggy has, the fact that your customers do rely on it and need to be able to have confidence in it.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
