Working with partners such as government agencies, townships, or other institutions of higher learning is a crucial part of Plymouth State University’s role as a comprehensive, regional university. North Country Teacher Certification Program to provide bachelor's degrees and K-8 teacher certification to place-bound students in New Hampshire's North Country.
Alton Museum Project: to restore a historic freight building and create a museum of local transportation history, with the Alton Historical Society
Integrating Communities through Environmental Planning in the North Country: joint project with PSU’s Center for the Environment to develop and deliver applied training in environmental planning to land use boards in the North Country
Regional Natural Resource-Based Economic Conference and Center: conference and future institute to enhance viability of local natural resource based economy, with the Center for the Environment
Plymouth Riverfront Project: to revitalize the Pemigewasset River front in Plymouth, N.H., with the town of Plymouth and the Center for the Environment
New Hampshire Data Presentation for USDA Rural Development staff from Vermont and New Hampshire
Changing Homeowner’s Lawn Care Behavior to Reduce Nutrient Runoff in New England’s Urbanizing Watersheds: Joint grant with University of New Hampshire and University of Maine to study how lawn care affects the environment and why homeowners make the choices they do
