Foundation studio course in three-dimensional visual art. Combines the study of the basic elements, principles, and practices of form and design in three dimensions with a series of hands-on problem-solving projects. Introduces students to a wide range of materials and techniques and to a variety of issues in contemporary art. Not open to students who have earned credit for AR 1050.
