

About Professor Mitchell
Professor Annette Mitchell heads the drawing program at Plymouth State University. She teaches Drawing I - VI on a rotating basis, Multi-Plate Printing, and other courses for the M.Ed program. She writes reviews for Art New England magazine and teaches workshops in the new printmaking process she pioneered using polystyrene foam as a block printing medium. She has published a book and produced a new DVD and video about her process titled Foam is Where the Art Is-New Ways to Print. More information is available at the Web site listed above. Mitchell's print process has been acknowledged and reviewed in magazines such as American Artist Magazine, Somerset Studio and SchoolArts Magazine. She teaches workshops in drawing and printmaking and maintains an active studio at home.
