The Bachelor of Fine Arts program is designed to provide students with the opportunity for a concentrated and focused education in Graphic Design or the Visual Arts (including Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture). The BFA degree provides students with a broad understanding of the visual arts and art history through a common 21-credit core. In addition, students complete an additional option in Graphic Design or 2D Studio Art or 3D Studio Art. Portfolio reviews are required for acceptance and continuation in the BFA program. Prerequisites must be met before courses are selected. A portfolio is required for admission and transfer to the Department of Art. Portfolio guidelines are available on the Department of Art Web site or by contacting the Department Chair. |
