In addition to the
departmental outcomes, students who complete the Health Education
major are able to:

functional knowledge of the 10 content areas in health education
appropriate for an entry level allied health professional
- Assess individual
and community need for health education
- Plan effective

- Evaluate the
effectiveness of health education programs
- Act as a resource

and health education needs concerns and resources
- Demonstrate
commitment to professionalism and ongoing professional development
as a health educator
