" Each year the National Survey of Student
Engagement (NSSE) collects information from undergraduates
at four-year colleges and universities across
the country to assess the extent to which students
engage in a variety of good educational practices.
The NSSE project is grounded in the proposition
that the frequency with which students engage
in activities that represent effective educational
practice is a good proxy for collegiate quality.
NSSE is supported by a grant from The
Pew Charitable Trusts and is cosponsored by
The
Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching
and
The Pew Forum for Undergraduate Learning."
Plymouth State University participates in the National
Survey of Student Engagement.
Results of the Survey will be reviewed annually
by the Assessment Advisory Group (AAG). Based
on the findings, the AAG will share the results
and make recommendations to the appropriate governing
body.
