as E-mail, discussion groups, website construction and

Demonstrate knowledge of the most common means of analysis
used by political scientists and other researchers in
business and administration

Demonstrate the ability to gather information from a
variety of types of sources

Perform critical analysis of a variety of types of

Demonstrate the ability to reach logical and well
substantiated conclusions using a variety of types of

III.
Mastery of the Subject Matters Related to Public
Management.

exposed to such primary areas of political science as
American government and institutions, public
administration, and policy analysis.

business law and organizational communications

Acquire an interdisciplinary perspective and breadth of
understanding by completing related courses in such
disciplines as economics, English, geography, history
and sociology

Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between
these areas and the practice of public management

Demonstrate the ability to apply subject matter
knowledge to the practice of public management by
completing an appropriate internship
