Looking for a spiritual practice? Then join us for the Spiritual Discovery Fair Thursday, March 26, 2009.

These sessions are all open to anyone on campus, classes and individuals alike.
- 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Contemporary Saints Gallery
- 12:20 - 1:00 p.m. Icons & Inspiration: Looking at Icons from the Artist's Perspective
Professor Cynthia Vascak, Art Department
Professor Vascak will provide a brief background on icons and demonstrate a tempura used to create them.
- 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. Seeking
Professor Herbert Otto, Philosophy Department
An odd voice inquires: What search? What is sought? Who seeks?
An odd reply, all too brief, on a Thursday afternoon.
- 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. Intro to Reiki
Students from the Wellness Center
They will explain what reiki is and then demonstrate how reiki is done.
- 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Raisin' Your Mindfulness
Kathy Tardif, Catholic Campus Ministry
Kathy will provide two guided meditations: one on eating and one on benefactors' loving kindness, both adapted from the Buddhist tradition.
- 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mosaic of Beliefs: A Forum on Spiritual Perspectives
Moderators: Preston Fuller, United Campus Ministry, and Bobbie Jo Watkins, Student Affairs
Ever wonder why people believe what they do? Listen to individuals with varying spiritual beliefs ranging from mainstream faiths and Eastern philosophies to earth-based spirituality.
