Grants for Students

If you are a student experiencing a financial crisis, the Student Support Foundation (SSF) can provide help with items such as:

  • Initial payment toward an emergency medical or dental procedure
  • Emergency travel
  • Food
  • Books and school supplies
  • Daycare

To receive help, review the guidelines for requesting a grant and then fill out the confidential application form (PDF or MS Word).

IMPORTANT: The application must say “Form updated 05/26/09” or later. Earlier versions of the application will not be accepted.

Grants for Faculty and Staff

If you are a faculty or staff person working with students and have identified a programmatic or personal need of students, the Student Support Foundation can give you help with student-implemented projects such as

  • Printing expense for resource information packet for incoming single parents
  • Program expense for students returning from Iraq and Afghanistan
  • Mileage reimbursement for students delivering items such as Christmas gifts or meals to people in the community
