We are ready to be your partner in this search and have many resources that can help you find the "perfect" school or graduate program for you. How can we help? What an excellent question!Our Center has advisors who are available on a walk-in basis, to assist you in exploring your graduate school plan, evaluating schools, searching for financial resources or any other question you may have. Stop by The Bagley Center, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. No appointment is necessary. ResourcesThe Bagley Center has many resources in its center. Our books, videos and Web sites can provide you with excellent background information on graduate programs, entrance exams and financial resources for graduate students. Clarifying Career GoalsChoosing to pursue an advanced degree is an important commitment that greatly influences future professional opportunities and personal goals. Our advisors will be happy to assist you in exploring how graduate studies may fit in your long term-career plan. You may also want to consider taking advantage of our career guidance software program to better define your goals. Writing a Personal StatementConsidering most graduate programs will require a personal statement that addresses your strengths, weaknesses, academic preparation, related experiences and future goals, it is critical that your essay be interesting, informative and accurate. Our advisors will be happy to review your statement and offer feedback where appropriate. Preparing Your ResumeAdvisors will edit and polish your resume and/or cover letter. Some students visit us more than once. All we require is a typed draft of your resume or cover letter. How can you find us?We are located on the north side of Highland Street, in the tan house with brown shutters at the crosswalk from Blair Hall towards Pemi and Belknap Halls. We are across the street from Lamson Library.
