Redefining Adventure Education Abroad

Bendigo CampusImagine waking up each morning in a world where time and seasons are the opposite of our own...animals, river and mountains will all be new for you to explore. You can, with a semester abroad in Australia.

Adventure Education majors who achieve a minimum of 20 Adventure Education credits, including AP 3400: Wilderness First Responder, are eligible to apply for a semester abroad at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Australia.

The Adventure Education in Australia semester gives students a different perspective on the profession and broadens their experience in terms of subject knowledge and cultural differences that will translate into greater marketability in the job market following graduation.

A core element of the Adventure Education in Australia semester abroad, is gaining practical experience in the field.
