Bagley Center Staff

Stephen E. Lambert, Ed.D. , Director

Dr. Lambert has been part of the Plymouth State faculty and administration since 1978. Before assuming the Directorship of The Bagley Center in January of 1990, Dr. Lambert was a member of the Department of Business faculty, and served as an adjunct faculty member for the graduate school. In 1986, Dr Lambert received the Distinguished Faculty Award for his services to the School for Lifelong Learning, now Granite State College. He is the author of numerous articles on career issues and the co-editor and contributing author of the 30 plus volume series “Great Jobs” published by McGraw Hill. Dr Lambert earned his Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Languages and Literature at Indiana University. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Plymouth State University. His doctorate in Educational Leadership was awarded by the University of Sarasota.

Debra A. Regan, Senior Associate Director

Debra Regan has been a member of The Bagley Center staff at Plymouth State since 1998. Prior to that, she served as the director of admission at Middlesex Community College in Bedford and Lowell, MA. Ms. Regan holds a Master's of Science degree in community counseling from Fitchburg (MA) State College and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Ms. Regan serves as the Director of the Freshman Abroad Program in partnership with the University of Limerick, Ireland. She has co-authored a book-length guide to career opportunities for Criminal Justice majors published as part of the "Great Job" series by McGraw Hill Publishing Company.

Ruth J. DeCotis, Associate Director

Ruth DeCotis has served Plymouth State for 27 years. She has been a member of the staff at The Bagley Center since 1986. She holds a Master's of Counselor Education-Human Relations, a graduate certificate from the PATH Institute focusing on alternative health and healing, and a Bachelor of Science degree in administrative management and communications from Plymouth State University. She is the coordinator of the National Student Exchange, a domestic study away program. Mrs. DeCotis has co-authored a book-length guide to career opportunities for math majors published as part of the "Great Job" series by McGraw Hill Publishing Company.

Linda A. Laporte, Administrative Assistant

Linda Laporte brings over seven years of Plymouth State service to her role as administrative assistant at The Bagley Center. She is the first point of contact in the office. Through her work at the University’s award-winning Child Development and Family Center and in the crucial office of degree auditing for the Registrar she has enjoyed interacting with and assisting Plymouth State students in their educational process. Linda is also the assistant to the Director of the Freshman Study Abroad Program both here and at the University of Limerick in Ireland.

Jessica S. Morel, Associate Director

Jessica Morel has been a member of The Bagley Center staff at Plymouth State University since 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Master's of Education in counseling, both from Plymouth State. Prior to joining The Bagley Center, she spent five years in the Plymouth State Admissions Office as assistant director.

Michele J. Poleski, Associate Director

Michele Poleski is the newest member of The Bagley Center. Prior to joining Plymouth State University she served as the assistant director of career services at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. She earned a Master's of Education in college student personnel from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and behavioral science & law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
