Undergraduate Atmospheric Science & Chemistry Degrees

The Department of Atmospheric Science & Chemistry offers four-year degrees in chemistry and meteorology.

• The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry prepares students for employment as chemists or post-graduate study in the fields of chemistry, medicine, dentistry, and other health professions. Available options:

  • Chemistry Education (7-12)
  • Environmental Chemistry

• The Bachelor of Science in Meteorology offers students a solid foundation in theoretical and applied meteorology, as well as opportunities for original research and internships.
• The Bachelor of Science in Physical Science Education (7-12) allows students who complete the program to become eligible for 7-12 teacher certification in the state of New Hampshire.
• The Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology is a joint program offered by the Department of Atmospheric Science & Chemistry and the Biological Sciences Department.

The Atmospheric Science & Chemistry Department also offers the following minors in:
