This practical, timely, and hands-on, 2-part workshop will explore your online identity and assist you in making informed decisions about managing it. We are all aware that our professional online identity and reputation is critically important. Don’t leave yours to chance. A few key steps to locate and manage your online identity can have a positive impact.

All faculty and graduate students are invited to attend.

This  workshop will be followed by a potluck lunch. We will provide a main course. Workshop participants can contribute a snack, salad, side dish or dessert to share.

 Part One: What is an Online Identity? Why Is It important?

This first workshop will acquaint you with your digital profile, or what people see on the web associated with your name and how it impacts your online identity. Come with a laptop or tablet ready log onto the web and investigate.

 Part Two: How Do You Manage Your Online Identity?

Your profile makes an immediate impression and you want it to highlight your expertise. The second workshop will offer some options for enhancing and taking control of your online profile.
