Shannon Rogers is an interdisciplinary environmental scholar and educator who focuses on understanding complex environment-human systems. She has had the opportunity to work across many sectors of the environmental field, including consulting, non-profit, government and academia. With an emphasis on environmental policy and decision-making, Shannon seeks to integrate her research and teaching in a manner that is community based and participatory. As part of her doctoral program she completed a Cognate in College Teaching and is thrilled to bringing those skills to the classrooms at Plymouth as well as the wonderful natural classroom that surrounds the campus.
A native of New Hampshire, Shannon is particularly concerned with maintaining and enhancing the quality of life, including ecosystem services, we enjoy in this wonderful state.
