Education:

  • B.A. Environmental Studies, Bates College, 2005.

Research Interests and Activities:

Broadly, I am interested in watershed science.  I am interested in the study of streams and incorporating a broad array of physical, biological, geological, and social sciences into my work.  I am particularly fascinated by arctic and boreal systems.  For my master’s research, I am studying the environmental mechanisms driving the stream and lake geochemistry within a watershed in Iceland. 

Personal Interests and Community Service:

Cycling down the Rockies, fly-fishing for Lake Trout, fieldwork in waders, fresh tracks on skis, long-term datasets, purchasing local food, hiking above tree line, and generally, all things water-related.Relaxing in nature
