UNDERGRADUATE students should report directly to the track room at the PE Center no later than 9:10 a.m. on Commencement morning. In the track room, students will line up with other members of their respective major. Please note: Students are not allowed to park at the PE Center.
GRADUATE students should report to the graduate tent set up behind the PE Center no later than 9:10 a.m.
The ceremony begins with a procession at 9:40 a.m. in which honorees, faculty and graduating students file into their seats in Currier Field. Families should be seated by no later than 9:30 a.m. to view the processional. Once all graduates are seated, the formal portion of the ceremony, which includes the conferring of degrees, begins at roughly 10 a.m.
If Inclement Weather is declared, all graduates must report directly to their inclement weather sites at 9:30 a.m. See more information about the Inclement Weather plan, which includes alternate indoor locations and video viewing areas.

When you arrive staff members will assist in forming lines for the processional, direct you to your seats and will prompt you when it is your turn to proceed to and from the platform. The order of the processional will be: College of Graduate Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration, followed by the College of Education, Health and Human Services. Students will be lined up alphabetically within their major.
