2007 Graduates

Graduate Commencement

Dear Graduating Class of 2008,

The 2008 Graduate Commencement ceremony is a time to celebrate the success of completing your degree. Commencement is quickly approaching; we hope that you join us to commemorate the culmination of your hard work with classmates, faculty, friends, and family!

We are pleased to announce that Plymouth State University President Sara Jayne Steen will preside over the ceremony. This year's Commencement speaker is Ray McNulty.

Mr. McNulty is a senior consultant for the International Center for Leadership and executive director of the Successful Practices Network, an organization that helps schools build upon their success. He was education commissioner of Vermont from 2001–2003 and was a senior fellow with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During a 35-year educational career, Mr. McNulty has spent time as a teacher, principal, and school superintendent, being named Vermont's Superintendent of the Year in 2000.

This is a special day set aside for you, so make time to do this for yourself, your family, and friends. Congratulations, and I look forward to seeing you walk across the stage on graduation day.

Sincerely,

Dennise M. Maslakowski, Ed.D.
