To assist undergraduate and graduate students in preparing for Commencement on Saturday, May 16, 2015, Plymouth State University and the PSU Bookstore, in conjunction with Oak Hall/Balfour, will be hosting:

Graduates Day is THE event to get the information you need for Commencement — all in one place!
Check-in with the Registrar’s Office
Verify your name on the current official list of graduates cleared to walk in the ceremony on May 16, 2015. (You must have an I.D. with you at this time)
You will be given a card with your full name as you requested it to appear in the commencement program with honors added, if applicable. Please check this card for accuracy. You will need to show this card at some of the other tables.
Participate in Commencement trivia and be entered to win some cool PSU swag and other great prizes including a set of four VIP tickets to Commencement for your family and friends (2 sets. If you win, you will need to return your Commencement tickets in exchange for the VIP tickets).

Meet your class officers, get senior activities information, and purchase t-shirts.
Conning Tower Yearbook
The yearbook staff will have information regarding yearbook photos and 2015 yearbook delivery. To schedule an appointment for your senior portrait, visit online (enter school code: 259).
Pick up important information concerning PSU Alumni Association membership, programs, benefits and opportunities. Also receive information about your permanent PSU alumni e-mail account.

University Advancement is also sponsoring a photographer to take head shots for your LinkedIn page free of charge!
Speak to a representative about insurance discounts you will be eligible for as a PSU Alum.
Pick up your cap, gown, tassel and graduate student hoods. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: If you qualify for honors based on your grade point average at the end of Winterim, you will be given a green and white honors tassel instead of the usual black tassel. Honors will be listed on the official bookstore printout of names.

Each graduate will be issued four tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremony at their major’s assigned venue. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
Financial Aid Office
A representative from the NHHEAF Network Organization & the PSU financial team will be available to answer questions on a variety of topics including: Federal student loan counseling Information (required), Default prevention and Consolidation information.
Receive Perkins Loan counseling information. Seniors who have a Federal Perkins Loan can complete a mandatory repayment schedule and disclosure statement. Useful information on budgeting, loan consolidation, cancellation credit opportunities, and credit reporting will be available.
Learn about the master’s, post-master’s and non-degree program options available through Plymouth State University. Stop by the table for more information on all the different options. You’ll have the opportunity to speak with an advisor to see how you can continue your education at PSU.

Or speak with someone about making an appointment to have your resume reviewed later. Career Services are available to you as a current student and alumni year round. Just drop by our office in the Center for Student Success (garden level of Mary Lyon Hall), no appointment necessary, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

If you cannot attend this event, caps, gowns, tassels and graduate student hoods will be available in the PSU Bookstore from March 16-May 8. Regalia will also be distributed at an event on April 2 in Concord.
