Plymouth State is committed to assisting any individual requiring special accommodations. Please be aware that seating, whether the ceremony is indoors or out, includes bleachers or seating accessible by stairs. If a participating senior or a guest who plans to attend either Spring Convocation or Commencement requires assistance, such as special seating, sign language interpretation, or other services, we ask that you file a Special Services form (PDF) to alert us to your needs. Forms will also available during Seniors Day on March 5, 2010 or from Campus Environmental Health and Safety Manager Tammy Hill at (603) 535-2409. Those who use TTY access should call (800) RELAYNH or (800) 735-2964.
Note: If Commencement is held indoors, guests who have requested special accommodations still need an inclement weather seating ticket for admittance into the inclement weather locations.
An ambulance with an EMT will be onsite at the PE Center. University police officers will be available to assist participants at every viewing location in the event of any emergency situation. You may call (603) 535-2330 for Public Safety/University Police or 911 for an emergency.
