Inclement Weather Plan

In the case of pouring rain, commencement ceremonies will be held indoors. A limited number of tickets are available for family and friends of each graduating senior. Information regarding site locations, where faculty have been assigned, and instructions for signing up will be made available in February. Please note the alternate venue is for INCLEMENT WEATHER ONLY.

Inclement Weather Tickets

  • Tickets are distributed during Seniors Day on Friday, March 5, 2010 to seniors who have filed to participate on May 22, 2010 and have signed up online for an inclement weather site.
  • Alternate pick up for inclement weather tickets is March 23 – April 16, 2010 at the Registrar’s Office in Speare 205 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Tickets are needed ONLY if the ceremony is held indoors and seating is limited due to the size constraints of our indoor facilities. Each participating senior will be allotted three (3) tickets. Students should pick up their inclement weather tickets, with their caps and gowns during Seniors Day on March 5 or during the alternate pick up dates (see above).

To secure seats in the inclement weather venue, you must pick up your inclement weather tickets by April 16, 2010. Please be sure you pick up your tickets when you pick up your cap and gown, and keep them in a safe place. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
