In collaboration with Plymouth State University, the Theatre Boreal Institute focuses on artistic collaboration, theatre education and ensemble creation. Together, we build original theatrical productions centered on community. The Institute strives to instill a sense of creativity, community engagement and professional training in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire. The inaugural session of the Institute will take place from June 17-22, 2013 at Plymouth State University’s Silver Center for the Arts.

This week-long intensive will expose students to master classes on various performance and pedagogical techniques taught by theatre professionals from New England. In the afternoons and evenings, students will put those new practices to work in rehearsal of an original performance. The final phase of the institute will allow the students to perform their original work for the community.
