June and July Swim Course

Instructor: Celeste St. Pierre

         Date: Tuesdays, June 10 – 24 & July 1 – 29

         Time: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

  Location: PE Center Pool

          Cost: $145

This course will be a progression of swim skills and technique with the main focus being on the freestyle stroke. The progression will start with approximately 30% drills and skills and 70% whole stroke while specifically concentrating on various aspects of the stroke. Each week the class will build on the preceding class, ending with 10% drills and 90% whole stroke swimming.  Swim caps, goggles, and bathing suits are required (no cut-offs). By the end of this course, swimmers should comfortably be able to swim ½–1 mile.
