The Community Service Center sponsors two American Red Cross Blood Drives annually. The blood drives are held in mid-October and early April. A student coordinator and student volunteers work with the American Red Cross staff to ensure the event runs smoothly. Volunteers are utlized in Registration, the Canteen and as Donor Escorts. Sign-ups are usually in the Community Service Center two weeks prior to the Blood Drive. Those wanting to donate blood can sign-up on-line (On-line registration closes 48 hours prior to the Blood Drive) or can show-up on the day of. Those without appointments are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis after donors with appointments have been taken.
