Exploring "Life in Plymouth"In the spring of 2004, Marcia Schmidt Blaine, assistant professor in the Social Science Department, helped a group of her students create an exhibit called "Life in Plymouth: 1938-1945." They explored historical records at the state and local historical societies, local and state libraries as well as the houses of local residents. Using newspapers, broadsides, letters, diaries and photos, and interviews with long-time Plymouth residents, they created an exhibit, a piece of public history, to share with the Plymouth community.
