Alice O'Connor, assistant manager for academic affairs, belongs to the Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ and has served as a deacon for the last three years. She also works with the confirmation class.
She has spent time visiting faith communities from Plymouth to Concord to investigate the decisions kids make about their faith journeys. She also facilitates the local chapter of Compassionate Friends, a grieving group for parents who have lost a child.
"I live in Holderness and work in Plymouth because this is the type of place I love - small town with larger city opportunities," she says.
