Pemi-Baker School Board Member
Barbara A. Noyes, business services assistant at Silver Cultural Arts Center, says she "enjoys serving my community and have done so in a number of capacities over the years. I believe in giving back to the community I live in."
She has served on the Pemi-Baker Regional School Board and, consequently, the SAU 48 Board since about 1991. She has also served in a number of capacities (President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary) over the past years (since 1975) with the Plymouth Business and Professional Women's Club. She is the current recording secretary.
Barbara has been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1975, noting "I am not an active member at this time, but do retain my membership." She served her local chapter in a number of capacities including Worthy Matron and held a state officer position.
