Introduces students to the conceptual and practical aspects of multimedia presentations, including elements of human-computer interface design. By course completion, students should be able to create well-designed presentations that integrate text, images, sound, animation and video, and understand the underlying technology making this possible. Students learn to create Internet-based presentations as well as presentations using applications, such as MS PowerPoint. Additionally, the ethical and social issues associated with computing technology are addressed. Falls and Springs.
