About Dr. Shen
Dr. Zhizhang Shen graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Zhejiang University, People's Republic of China, in 1983. He later received his Ph.D., also in Computer Science, from the City University of New York in 1990.
Currently, he is employed as a professor in computer science in Plymouth State University. He is interested in applied mathematics, particularly, in network performance analysis. He has published about 30 conference papers and journal articles.
Dr. Shen is a member of ACM(SIGACT, SIGAPP), ISCA, and SIAM.
